Linda Grey, and her littermate, Larry, came to Motorville
after their mother's sweep of racing championships in their hometown. Larry's
heart was at the track, but Linda sought a more practical lifestyle, and after
listening outside the lecture hall for three years at Vain State University's
business school, applied for a job with Barker,
Tchootoi and Wolfe. She was hired as a liver-snack accountant, but her
business savvy was apparent from the beginning, and she has since risen through
the chain of command to a high management position within the firm.
Tough, efficient and businesslike, Linda runs a tight ship and demands performance
both on the job and at home. Because of these criteria, she threw out her husband,
who among other things, knew not the meaning of the word "work." He preferred to
spend his days playing fetch. "That's the last time I have anything to do with a
sporting dog," she was heard to say.
But even with a young litter of puppies and a full-time job, Linda seems to have
it all together. She loves her brother Larry dearly and helped to support him
during lean times at the track, and also helped in his rehabilitation after an
injury which nearly ended his career prematurely.
